Can you be in love with life but not your own?
I've been on a mission for the past few years now, of finding my path, my purpose, my reason. I believe in my heart that each day you're given the gift of breath, of waking up, it means that your work is not yet done. There is still more to be learned, to be experienced, to be shared. I am in love with life! Not always my life but life itself - I do believe there is a difference. It's so easy to take for granted what is right in front of us, to think the grass is greener - but I'll tell you this. The grass is greener where you water it. What you focus on expands; and even when your life doesn't look the way you envision it, it doesn't mean that you're not fulfilling your purpose.
I have this idea of MY life being filled with travel, meeting and making friends around the world, doing something that creates an impact and leaving a mark on this world that only I can. When my days don't resemble my intentions I feel lost. The truth is, life isn't always a vacation and there will be ups and downs, trials and tribulations. Our 'yoga' comes in, in how we react and grow through these times.
I feel as if each day I get closer and I know that part of my purpose is connecting people to things, places, and experiences. I have a unique gift and whether I fully realize my purpose or not, just by being here - being present I AM leaving a mark that only I can.
